Last year, we announced the opening of our new customer service center in Tulsa, OK and unveiled a plan to add nearly 300 new employees to our rapidly-expanding team of travel industry professionals in 2018.
On Tuesday, February 27 that plan came to fruition as we celebrated the grand opening of the new facility. During the ceremony, State Congressman Jim Bridenstine’s representative, Brian O’Hara, presented Connexions Loyalty with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition.
This all stems from an acquisition from 2017, when we purchased the assets of an existing travel service center located in Tulsa. The purchase helped more than fifty seasoned local travel consultants retain their jobs. In the year since, we’ve created new jobs for more than 300 people in the Tulsa area.
To accommodate the expansion, we moved to a new office in Eastgate Metroplex. The newly-constructed facility boasts over 50,000 square feet of space that includes state-of-the-art infrastructure and amenities to promote employee engagement and a positive customer experience.
